For Samsung’s semiconductor sector, the last several years have not been particularly impressive. As a result, there were no notable increases in performance bonuses for the division.
Samsung Year-End Bonuses
At the end of the year, Samsung offers performance bonuses to all of its employees. The performance of the business unit is one of the indicators used to compute the bonus. In 2025, the semiconductor division’s bonus entitlement altered along with its fortunes.
The workers in this division may have a great year in 2026. South Korean publications claim that Samsung has revealed the performance incentive for workers in its semiconductor or Device Solutions business. As a performance incentive, employees will get between 43 and 48 percent of their yearly salaries.
Timing and Significance of Bonuses
Every year in January, Samsung gives its workers this performance incentive. This is the biggest bonus incentive that Samsung Electronics workers have ever received. Bonuses of up to 50% of each employee’s yearly income are available.
Due to the difficult economic climate, workers in the semiconductor segment have sometimes not earned incentive money, as recently as 2023. Last year, when the division began to rebound, employees got a 14% performance bonus.
Strong Outlook for 2026
With memory costs soaring and a resurgence of consumer interest in Samsung Foundry, it concluded 2025 on a high note. The division is in a strong position to seize any opportunity that arises in 2026 and beyond.
