Jharkhand 2050 Vision: CM Hemant Soren Aims for Wealthy, Equitable, and Sustainable State

Ranchi Chief Minister Hemant Soren wished everyone a happy New Year and said on Thursday that his administration was striving to create a successful, equitable, and sustainable Jharkhand by 2050.

Vision for Jharkhand 2050

According to Soren, the JMM-led administration is focusing on policies and programs that prioritize education, health, self-employment, social security, natural resource protection, and the rights and dignity of local people in order to accomplish the aim. The coming of the New Year, he said, is a significant step in achieving the goal of “our great forefathers” to create a “Sona Jharkhand”.

Journey of Challenges and Inclusive Growth

“Over the last several years, Jharkhand has faced many challenges, opportunities, and perseverance. The state’s residents have played a vital role in this journey, particularly the tribal, indigenous, farmers, laborers, women, and youth populations. With this determination, our administration will proceed with programs and policies that prioritize the rights and dignity of local communities, education, health, employment and self-employment, social security, and the preservation of natural resources,” he said.

Commitment to Grassroots Development

Soren said that his government’s top aim has been to reinforce the roots of “the great tree that is Jharkhand” and that he is committed to making sure that the people in the final row benefit from progress.

“I want this ‘Yuva Jharkhand’ to grow with a common vision over the next 25 years and for Jharkhand to become one of the nation’s top states by 2050. I hope that everyone’s life will be filled with joy, serenity, health, and wealth in 2026,” he stated.

Tributes and Security Arrangements

He also mentioned the efforts made to the state’s development by his father, former chief minister Shibu Soren, and former education minister Ramdas Soren, who died in 2025. As people began congregating at well-known locations and public places to celebrate the start of the New Year, security has been bolstered across the state.

Tourist Rush Across Jharkhand

Waterfalls, lakes, hills, dams, riverbanks, and parks are among the state’s tourist attractions that have started to attract sizable crowds since the early hours of the morning. In addition to the zoo, a lot of tourists are anticipated to visit the Dasham Falls, Jonha Falls, and Hundru Falls in Ranchi.

Police Vigil and Safety Measures

In order to avert any untoward situations, Ranchi SP Paras Rana said that all police stations have been instructed to keep close surveillance around hotels, restaurants, parks, and particularly near dams and water reservoirs.

“We have identified 104 susceptible spots and assigned enough security troops,” he said. He urged everyone to have a calm and safe New Year’s celebration.
