2026’s Bageshwar Dham Kanya Vivah. At Bageshwar Dham in Chhatarpur, plans are in motion to marry 300 females on Mahashivratri. In Garha village, Pt. Dhirendra Shastri is organizing the 7th Kanya Vivah.
This Kanya Vivah is anticipated to include participation from India’s leading saints, legislators, a plethora of celebrities, movie figures, and local artists. February 13th, 14th, and 15th are the dates for the Kanya Vivah Mahotsav. Prominent musicians will play daily as part of the music programs organized for this bridal event.
“This year is the seventh Kanya Vivah,” Rishi Shukla, the newly appointed music director for the Kanya Vivah Mahotsav, told Local 18. There will be the marriage of 300 poor, penniless, orphaned, and defenseless daughters. Officiating these nuptials will be Pandit Dhirendra Shastri.
Numerous performers will participate in cultural programs that will also take place during the festival. He added that Bundelkhand artists Hariya Bhaiya, Priya Sen, Mahi Soni, Anshika Rajotiya, Kavita Sharma, and Uma Saxena are also attending, along with artists like Jubin Nautiyal, Vishal Mishra, Kirtidaan Gadhvi, Kanhaiya Mittal, Hansraj Raghuvanshi, and Pawan Singh.
The final names have been decided. A few names are still in the planning stages. Some performers, including the well-known vocalist Jubin Nautiyal, have already announced their arrival dates. She will arrive on February 12. On February 13th, Priya Sen, Mahi Soni, Anshika Rajotiya, and Uma Saxena will arrive. On February 14th, renowned Bundeli performer Hariya Bhaiya will arrive. Vishal Mishra, a singer, might also attend on the same day. Some performers’ dates are still pending, though.
Not only are there artists at the Kanya Vivah Mahotsav, but there are also many saints and sages from all across the nation, including Swami Rambhadracharya, Chinmayanand Bapu, Sadhvi Ritambara, and Dati Ji Maharaj. Devi Chitralekha, Indresh Upadhyay, Aniruddhacharya, and Pandit Pradeep Mishra are also there as storytellers.
Additionally attending the Kanya Vivah Mahotsav are Chief Ministers Dr. Mohan Yadav of Madhya Pradesh, Bhajanlal Sharma of Rajasthan, Vishnu Dev Sai of Chhattisgarh, Pushkar Singh Dhami of Uttarakhand, Nayab Singh of Haryana, and Rekha Gupta of Delhi.
