HP CBSE Schools Announce Screening Test for 5,623 Posts

For 5,623 positions for deputation to the CBSE sub-cadre in 134 government schools affiliated with the CBSE, the Himachal Pradesh Directorate of School Education, through the State Board of School Education, will administer a screening exam.

Serving teachers employed by the Directorate of School Education who fulfill the eligibility requirements and educational requirements outlined in the pertinent sections of the applicable recruiting and promotion regulations are eligible to take this test. Only administering the screening exam, creating the post-by-post merit list, and announcing the results will be the Board of School Education’s responsibilities.

However, the Directorate of School Education shall continue to have authority over all matters pertaining to eligibility, deputation, posting, and service. On Wednesday, the Board asked qualified applicants to apply online for this recruitment test.

The Board’s official website launched the link for online applications.

The Board states that the Himachal School Education Directorate will have the power to decide whether current teachers are eligible, suitable, and deputable for posting or employment in government schools affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education and their CBSE sub-cadres in line with the government’s policy, which is developed and announced periodically.

Along with the notification, a prospectus-cum-information pamphlet that includes all the specific instructions, eligibility requirements, and terms and circumstances pertaining to the screening test has been made public.

The link for submitting online applications has been published on the Board’s official website, www.hpbose.org. Candidates may only apply online for the screening test within the allotted time frame and pay the required examination fee if they meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the aforementioned brochure.

The screening test will cost ₹500, and there will be a ₹600 late fee.

Submission of online applications opens on February 11.

Submission deadline: February 24

Online application form, February 25–27, with late charge

Online application correction date – February 28 to March 1

Date of screening test: Sunday, March 22

The Board makes it clear that applications submitted in any way other than online, that are incomplete, or that do not include the required fee will be rejected right away and without warning. Additionally, a candidate does not automatically have the right to compete in the exam, selection, or deputation just because they submitted an online application.

Participation in the screening test by candidates will depend on the prepared post-by-post merit list, eligibility and document verification, post availability, and the competent/appointing authority’s approval. Through the payment gateway link provided in the online application system, candidates must only use debit cards, credit cards, or net banking to pay the required exam fee.

There will be no acceptance of fees submitted in any other manner. Additionally, applications that are submitted without the required fee being successfully paid will be automatically dismissed as invalid.

Candidates will have a one-time chance to fix any mistakes in their online application form at the Board office. Only during the designated dates and the announced correction period will such corrections be accepted. Before or after this time frame, no requests for corrections will be taken into consideration.

It is the candidates’ sole responsibility to make sure that all of the information they enter on the application form is accurate. During office hours only, candidates can call the Board helpline at 01892-242192 for any information or clarification.
