There have been reports of multiple injuries following a bombing in the district of Chapainawabganj. After Thursday’s election, Bangladeshi police said on Saturday that a bombing had killed two persons.
According to Bangladeshi media, a bomb-making explosion in Fatapara, Sadar Upazila, Chapainawabganj district, on Saturday morning claimed two lives and injured three more.
On election day, two polling places employed similar devices. There have been reports of similarities between the attacks at these voting places and the explosions that followed on Saturday.
