PTI said that officials in the know said a SpiceJet flight headed for Leh had to return to Delhi on Tuesday morning due to a technical issue that arose during the flight.

About 150 people were on board the Boeing 737, which was flying as flight SG121, when the tragedy occurred.
A SpiceJet representative verified that the plane encountered a technical problem and returned to the nation’s capital. “All passengers departed normally after the aircraft safely landed in Delhi,” the spokesperson said in a statement. According to the source, the engine of the airplane was the cause of the issue.
