On February 24, PPFAS Mutual Fund paid approximately Rs 2,364 crore through open market transactions to purchase a roughly 6% share in Blackstone and Embassy Group-sponsored Embassy Office Parks REIT.
On Tuesday, Embassy Office Parks REIT units saw a significant 3.3 percent correction, ending at Rs 420.02 on the NSE, the lowest closing level since November 17, 2025.
For a total of Rs 2,364.4 crore, PPFAS Mutual Fund purchased 5.6 crore units of the real estate investment trust at a price of Rs 420 each. However, for Rs 2,199.7 crore, Capital Income Builder, American Funds, and Small Cap World Fund sold around 5.5% of the REIt is units at the same price.
Capital Income Builder sold 1.06 crore units (1.1 percent of all outstanding units) for Rs 447.4 crore, American Funds Global Balanced Fund sold 1.25 crore units (1.3 percent ownership) for Rs 525 crore, and For Rs 1,227.3 crore, the Small Cap World Fund sold 2.92 crore units, or 3.08 percent of the total.
As of December 2025, the US-based Capital Group-controlled Small Cap World Fund owns 4.01 percent of Embassy Office Parks REIT.
R&B Denims was also active; on Tuesday, their shares increased 1.29 percent to Rs 199.21, maintaining its 22-session upward trend that began on January 27. For Rs 16.4 crore, Pine Oak Global Fund purchased 8.28 lakh shares in the textile company situated in Surat. The purchase price per share was Rs 198.6.
