Entry of Shah Rukh Khan into the club of billionaires
Shah Rukh Khan’s fortune has increased by 71% since 2024, making him a billionaire for the first time. The success of Red Chilies Entertainment, which his wife Gauri Khan co-owns and which made a net profit of Rs 85 crore in FY23, is what has propelled his ascent. Furthermore, according to Sacnilk statistics, SRK’s fortune was further increased by the success of his blockbuster Jawan, which was made on a budget of Rs 300 crore and brought in Rs 640.25 crore at the Indian box office and Rs 1,160 crore globally.
Everything about the IPO for PhysicsWallah
In addition to the wealth jump, PhysicWallah has submitted amended paperwork for a Rs 3,820 crore initial public offering (IPO) to SEBI. It includes an offer for sale (OFS) of Rs 720 crore and a new issuance of Rs 3,100 crore. According to PTI, promoters Alakh Pandey and Prateek Boob want to sell shares valued at Rs 360 crores via the OFS.
PhysicsWallah, supported by investors like Hornbill, WestBridge Capital, and GSV Ventures, had previously chosen a private pre-filing path and obtained SEBI’s clearance. Prominent banks have been assigned to oversee the matter, including Axis Capital, JP Morgan India, Goldman Sachs (India) Securities, and Kotak Mahindra Capital.
After leaving Harcourt Butler Technical University in 2016, Pandey began teaching on YouTube and has since grown to become one of the fastest-growing businesspeople in the nation.
