Mahagathbandhan Agrees Seat Sharing

The countdown to the assembly elections in Bihar has started. The Mahagathbandhan (INDIA) has also overcome a significant obstacle by agreeing on seat sharing. Grand Alliance Finalizes Seats

Congress, Left, Sahni Seats

There is talk that the three left-leaning parties might win 34 seats together. This time around, the Mahagathbandhan includes Mukesh Sahni’s party. There are also rumors that it will get 18–20 seats.
Despite his long-standing demands for 60 seats, Sahni is reportedly willing to make sacrifices in order to ensure the grand alliance’s success.
Unity Key to Alliance Success
It is important to note that the Mahagathbandhan saw a great deal of squabbling over seats. Even before the election process started, parties like Congress and the Vikasheel Insan Party were calling for a larger portion of public platforms.
Although it was very difficult to persuade these parties to agree under such conditions, state level leaders eventually agreed that the party’s objective should be to bring the grand alliance to power rather than just get more seats.
