Residents in the city had some good news. The road from Shastri Chowk (Bokaro Sector-6) to Telma Chowk (NH-32) will undergo upgrades. The roadway will be widened to improve traffic flow.
Four-Lane Project Announced
To develop this route four-lane, the Jharkhand government’s road construction department has put out a Rs 57 crore contract. This 5.965-kilometer road’s development will make it easier to travel about the city and significantly alleviate the traffic congestion issue.

Departmental data indicates that this initiative would cost around Rs 56.64 crore, and the project must be finished within 22 months of work starting.
As part of the e-procurement procedure, interested contractors must apply under the guidelines.
deadline for the tender procedure is August 20.
After that, the technical bids will begin on August 25.
Complete procedure online
The agency claims that in order to maintain openness, the whole procedure is being carried out online. Residents think that by upgrading this road four-lane, it would not only ease traffic inside the city but also make it simpler for cars to go to Ranchi, Ramgarh, Giridih, and Dhanbad.
The Bokaro Steel Plant and the other industrial districts will also benefit from this initiative.
