By April 2026, the curriculum for Class-III children in over 31,000 Indian schools will include additional subjects including language and basic arithmetic. The curriculum will include reading comprehension, grammar, sentence creation, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as well as language models, chatbot prompts, and generative artificial intelligence (AI).
In order to guarantee that these blended curricula equip Indian students for new job positions developing in an AI-driven employment environment, efforts are also being made to include AI education into all degree programs, including BA, BCom, BSc, and specialized courses.
