Superintendent of Police Sumit Agarwal said that the squad under the leadership of Sadar SDPO Sandeep Suman apprehended the offenders by pretending to be merchants, based on confidential information. The young people in custody are involved in the illicit arms trade.

On Sunday evening near Kosmata Lejnawa Road in the Hunterganj police station area, Chatra district police caught two interstate offenders, including a youngster, who were carrying a shipment of illicit cartridges while masquerading as businessmen.
Among the apprehended culprits were a motorbike, a cell phone, and 393 rounds of live AK-47 ammunition. The young person who was detained has been identified as Roshan Kumar, a child who lives in Kuthilwa village in the Ludua police station area of the Gaya district of Bihar and is the son of Mahendra Paswan.
Police Foil Ammunition Deal
At a news conference on Sunday at his office, Superintendent of Police Sumit Agarwal revealed the situation. According to the SP, there was a confidential tip that two young people were riding a motorbike near Kosmahi Lenjwa Road in the Hunterganj police station area in order to provide ammunition.
Sadar SDPO Sandeep Suman led the creation of a dedicated team to address this. The group devised a novel plan to apprehend the defendant. Following the completion of the transaction, the police approached the accused and introduced themselves as dealers.
Ongoing Hunt Smuggling Network
When they arrived, they apprehended him. The apprehended kid has been involved in the illicit guns trade for a long time and is part of a large network, according to the SP. The leader of this smuggling network is still evading capture, he said.
