High Commissioner Dinesh K. Patnaik held talks with CEOs of Indian enterprises that have a substantial presence in Canada at the Consulate’s Indian CEOs Forum on Wednesday.
Talking with CEOs of Indian businesses that have a big presence in Canada, the Indian Consulate here highlighted opportunities for technological partnerships, joint ventures, and two-way investments.
The development follows a reset in ties between Canada and India a few weeks ago.
High Commissioner Dinesh K. Patnaik held talks with CEOs of Indian enterprises that have a substantial presence in Canada at the Consulate’s Indian CEOs Forum on Wednesday.
The Consulate said on X that the discussion “emphasized opportunities for two-way investments, joint ventures, and technological partnerships – notably in medicines, essential minerals, and fintech.”
In August, Patnaik was named India’s High Commissioner to Canada, and in September, he assumed leadership.
By sending envoys to each other’s capitals, India and Canada demonstrated their intention to mend strained relations after the 2023 death of a Sikh separatist.
