Innovate, Connect, Secure, Transform
Known as Asia’s biggest digital technology gathering, the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025 will take place at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre in New Delhi from October 8–11. The official press release predicts that the ninth edition of the event would attract over 1.5 lakh attendees, 7,000 delegates, 800 speakers, and 400 exhibitors from 150 countries.
The topic for this year, “Innovate to Transform,” combines advancements in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, satellite communications, 5G, 6G, and green technology.
Startup, AI, Networking, Investment
With more than 500 entrepreneurs and 300 investors, incubators, and accelerators, the Aspire Startup Program is one of the main draws. In industries like deep tech, artificial intelligence, finance, and satellite communications, the forum will provide networking opportunities, pitch events, and mentoring sessions.
IMC will also host the Startup World Cup India for the first time, according to the press release. Fifteen chosen businesses will fight for a $1 million investment award and the opportunity to go to the global final in San Francisco.
With application examples from the healthcare, financial, agricultural, and logistics sectors, artificial intelligence will be a major subject. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology is organizing a special International AI Summit to talk about India’s changing place in international AI governance and ethical frameworks.
6G, AI, Satellite, Security
In collaboration with the Bharat 6G Alliance, the event will also include the 2nd International Bharat 6G Symposium. More than 70 specialists will talk on spectrum harmonisation, AI-native networks, and non-terrestrial connectivity, including academics from IITs and foreign universities as well as technological giants.
A conference with the National Security Coordination Secretariat (NSCS) will provide cybersecurity a specific venue. Sessions will address regulatory frameworks, protecting satellite communication networks, and risks driven by AI.
The focus will also be on India’s satellite communications industry, which is expected to grow to $20 billion by 2028. In collaboration with IN-SPACe, the Satcom Summit will examine next-generation satellite technologies such as direct-to-device communication and multi-orbit topologies.
