IndiGo Launches Daily Delhi-Guangzhou and Delhi-Hanoi Flights

The New Delhi-Guangzhou route comes after IndiGo previously announced that it will begin operating daily flights between Kolkata and Guangzhou on October 26.

IndiGo Expands International Routes

The Indian airline IndiGo has announced two significant foreign network expansions: daily direct flights between Delhi and Hanoi, Vietnam, commencing December 20, and between Delhi and Guangzhou, China, beginning November 10.

The airline will use its Airbus A320 aircraft to fly both flights.

The New Delhi-Guangzhou route comes after IndiGo previously announced that it will begin operating daily flights between Kolkata and Guangzhou on October 26. IndiGo is now among the first Indian airlines to completely restart flights to China after the epidemic thanks to this expansion.

Daily Delhi-Guangzhou Flights

“We are happy to strengthen our connection to China with daily direct flights between Delhi and Guangzhou, in addition to the newly reinstated route from Kolkata,” said Vinay Malhotra, head of Global Sales at IndiGo, in reference to the launch. There is a great deal of opportunity for both cultural and commercial cooperation with the restart of operations between two of the most populated countries in the world.

Daily flights will leave Delhi at 9:45 p.m. and arrive in Guangzhou at 4:50 a.m. (+1); the return flight will depart Guangzhou at 5:50 a.m. and arrive in Delhi at 10:10 a.m.

Improving communication with Vietnam

Additionally, starting on December 20, IndiGo will provide daily direct flights between Delhi and Hanoi. With this new route, the airline will be able to meet the increasing demand for travel to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, where it already offers 14 weekly flights from Kolkata.

Vinay Malhotra emphasized the significance of this development, saying: “As a convenient way to travel to Vietnam, we are happy to announce daily direct flights between Delhi and Hanoi, in addition to the existing well-liked services from Kolkata to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Our goal is to continue to provide our clients smooth, reasonably priced, and punctual travel alternatives as we improve connection across the Asean area.

The flight (6E 1634) from Hanoi to Delhi will take off at 7:25 am and arrive in Hanoi at 1 pm, while the flight from Hanoi to Delhi will take off at 6 pm and arrive at 9:25 pm.
