Infosys Delivers 2,500+ Gen AI Projects, Boosts Client Productivity

For customers worldwide, information technology giant Infosys has completed more than 2,500 Generative AI (Gen AI) and more than 200 Agentic AI projects.

Chief Delivery Officer Satish HC said that customers are increasingly expanding AI technologies beyond experimental stages to provide measurable business results during the company’s Q2 FY26 earnings call on October 16.

“We have completed more than 2,500 Gen AI projects and more than 200 agentic AI projects for our customers throughout our portfolio,” Satish said. With the help of Infosys’s AI platform Topaz and proprietary small language models, he said, businesses are integrating AI into modernization, digitization, and automation initiatives.

For internal usage, Infosys has developed four Small Language Models (SLMs).

The Bengaluru-based company claimed in July that its use of agentic AI solutions has increased customer productivity by 5–15%. Internally, the business has also implemented AI agents.

Satish gave the example of a logistics customer that uses Infosys’ AI-powered real-time data platform to handle 400 million messages daily, saving $1.5 million and reducing call volumes by 12%.

Using Gen AI, Infosys engineers have generated over 25 million lines of code. “On its own, our multi-agent invoice automation technology improved our free cash flow conversion by unlocking $50 million in additional cash flow,” he said.

Additionally, 10% of the company’s employees are now “AI builders.” Salil Parekh, the CEO, reaffirmed that Infosys has a competitive advantage in implementing AI in intricate client situations due to its extensive experience in large-scale business modernization.
