IT Leaders Say India Is Key to Global AI Growth Ahead of India AI Impact Summit

The India AI Impact Summit, which takes place from February 16–20 at the Bharat Mandapam, highlights India as a major force in artificial intelligence.

The Summit intends to go beyond high-level debates and provide concrete results that can assist social development, economic progress, and the sustainable use of AI. It is envisioning itself as a crucial worldwide platform to build a future-oriented agenda for inclusive, responsible, and impactful AI.

According to Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen, India has set the standard for demonstrating what is achievable when ambition and creativity come together.

“India has always demonstrated what can happen when desire and imagination come together. I applaud Hon. Prime Minister Modi and the Ministry of Electronics and IT for taking the initiative to host the first global AI meeting in the Global South, the AI Impact meeting.

It symbolizes our common dedication to utilizing AI’s revolutionary potential to promote equitable development, unleash human potential, and build a sustainable future. The Indian Embassy in the US broadcast a video in which he stated, “At Adobe, we are thrilled to lead the way in building commercially safe creative AI, supporting the goal of a Viksit Bharat and empowering everyone to create.”

In line with the national vision of Welfare for All, Happiness for All, and the global principle of AI for Humanity, this year’s Summit will function as an impact-focused global platform that transforms AI into quantifiable outcomes across economies. “I have been a tech entrepreneur my entire life, and I have never seen technology like AI before,” the speaker said. Although we have seen the internet, cloud computing, and mobile devices, artificial intelligence is more than just change. It will transform human existence. In this process, India plays a crucial role.

As time goes on, it will supply AI to the entire world thanks to its digital infrastructure, vast human potential, and encouraging government. This was evident early on. We developed Kore.ai from India around a dozen years ago, introducing a top-tier AI platform to the global community. In a video released by the Indian Embassy in the US, he stated, “I am thrilled to be here at the India AI Summit, with other business and technology leaders, to learn and exchange ideas.”

India’s quick adoption of AI is creating new opportunities for equitable growth and innovation in a variety of industries. India is assuring widespread involvement across geographies and socioeconomic classes while boosting worker preparation for an AI-driven economy as technology advances.

“The AI conference in India is going to be a really exciting occasion to talk about the benefits of AI,” says Vinod Khosla, founder of Khosla Ventures, who is looking forward to the conversation about what AI services can do for Indian citizens. AI has the potential to revolutionize society, particularly for the poorer segments of society who have limited access to the information economy.

They will benefit most from it and receive services like healthcare, education, and other things in their language and at their level. In a video released by the Indian Embassy in the US, he stated, “There is a really big possibility there, and I am looking forward to the conversation about AI services and what they can do for the Indian community, especially those with the least resources today.”

The 2026 India-AI Impact Summit solidifies India’s position as a pivotal forum for influencing the global AI agenda.

By connecting innovation with public purpose and policy with implementation, the Summit creates a systematic method for deploying AI responsibly. It links sustainable development and inclusive growth with technical improvement.
