Terrorists and security personnel clashed on Wednesday in a remote area in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district, according to authorities.
According to them, the incident began today evening near Billawar’s Kahog village when security personnel began a search operation after receiving information about the presence of two or three militants.
Inspector General of Police, Jammu, Bhim Sen Tuti wrote on X, “SOG Kathua has engaged terrorists in the jungle of Kamadh Nullah, Kathua.” Locals in Kamad Nallah, near the Billawar police station, reportedly saw one terrorist at around 4 p.m.
According to the reports, it may be the same terrorist that was seen at Dhannu Parole this morning. According to the authorities, troops have been sent to the area in order to eliminate the terrorists.
