Congress MP KC Venugopal has intensified his criticism of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, raising concerns over the government’s response to the ongoing West Asia crisis and its impact on Indians living in Gulf countries.
On March 29, Congress MP KC Venugopal criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for allegedly doing nothing to address the challenges faced by Indians in the Gulf region amid the continuous crisis in West Asia. In response to PM Modi’s Mann Ki Baat 132nd episode, Venugopal called the Prime Minister’s expressions of gratitude to Gulf countries and comments about India’s response to the global petroleum crisis a “hollow exercise.”
Venugopal Targets PM Modi Over Gulf Crisis
“This Mann Ki Baat will not make the problems go away. He must take action. However, the primary cause of this issue for Indians is the apathy of the Indian government, according to Venugopal.
The Central government, according to the Congress leader, is disregarding the difficulties faced by Indians overseas. “Everyone in the United Arab Emirates is in terrible shape following this Western catastrophe. They are in excruciating pain. What is this government doing? Additionally, PM Modi is doing nothing,” he continued.
