Humanoid AI Robot Welcomes Delegates
A black and white humanoid AI robot that could speak eleven languages, including Bengali, led Melania Trump to the international meeting at the White House. The humanoid robot was presented as the “first American-made humanoid guest in the White House” and was developed by the robotics company Figure.
The robot, referred to as Figure 3, waved and said “welcome” in eleven different languages to the group. “Swagatam,” the robot uttered in what a White House pool report termed as “Bengali.” Additionally, in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Arabic, Japanese, Hebrew, Slovene, Ukrainian, and Georgian, the robot said “welcome.”
Robot Features and Demonstration
According to the business, the robot is an independent tool for assigning domestic chores. It has touch sensors to assist operators in seeing its targets, cameras in its hands, and a mesh fabric covering. Figure 3 appears in commercial videos doing laundry, folding clothing, loading a dishwasher, and picking up toys.
“Figure 3, thank you for joining me,” stated the First Lady. “You are my first American-made humanoid guest in the White House,” she said.
