On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially opened the Delhi section of the Dwarka Expressway along with the Urban Extension Road-II, two highway projects valued at around ₹11,000 crore.

With a budget of around Rs 11,000 crore, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday officially opened the Delhi segment of the Dwarka Expressway and the Urban Extension Road-II (UER-II), which would Reduce traffic congestion in Delhi and the region.

Faster Delhi-NCR Connectivity
When fully completed, these new Programs should Significantly cut down on the amount of time it takes to go from Sonipat, Rohtak, Bahadurgarh, and Gurugram to IGI Airport.

The India Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that the Dwarka Expressway as well as UER-II will bring major benefits to residents of Delhi-NCR.
He added that the government is actively working to address the concerns of Delhi’s people during the project’s Opening.
Its total cost around Rs 5,360 crore to build the Dwarka Expressway’s 10.1 km Delhi Sector. Additionally, the stretch would have multimodal access to the Dwarka cluster bus depot, the Blue and Orange lines of Delhi Metro, the Recommended Bijwasan railway station, and Yashobhoomi.

Delhi Roads Get Boost
While inspecting the Dwarka Expressway, Modi spoke with laborers. Additionally, he staged a roadshow at Delhi’s Mundka-Bakkarwala Village Toll Plaza.
In addition, prime minister Narendra Modi disclosed the Alipur–Dichaon Kalan segment of the Urban Extension Road-II (UER-II), built at a cost of about ₹5,580 crore, which provides fresh connectivity to Bahadurgarh and Sonipat.
The project will reduce Overcrowding at key intersections such as NH-09, Dhaula Kuan, and Mukarba Chowk.
It will also improve traffic flow on Delhi’s Inner Ring Road.
The additional Encourages will speed up the transportation of products in the NCR, reduce city traffic, Improve industrial linkages, and provide direct access to Bahadurgarh and Sonipat.
