Ola Electric attributes its expansion to its Hyperservice program, which directly addressed customer self-service, labor capacity, parts availability, and backlog resolution. According to the corporation, 77% of service requests were completed same-day in December 2024, demonstrating the initiative’s notable gains in service resolution speed.
4680 Bharat-Cell Platform Expansion
In November 2025, Ola Electric started shipping its 4680 Bharat-Cell powered S1 Pro+ 5.2 kWh scooters because of high initial demand. The business has expanded the 4680 Bharat Cell platform to include scooters and motorbikes in December when it got regulatory approval for its 4680 Bharat-Cell powered Roadster X+ Motorcycle.
As a crucial long-term margin and supply-chain lever, this signifies the start of internal cell integration across its two-wheeler range. With Ola Shakti (BESS) deliveries anticipated to start in the next months, the company’s energy division is likewise poised to grow.
Chairman’s Remarks on Hyperservice
“Our aim has been to address the foundations of service with speed and discipline,” said Bhavish Aggarwal, Chairman and Managing Director of Ola Electric. Hyperservice is a fundamentally oriented initiative rather than a temporary solution, and we are already seeing significant improvements in market share, customer experience, and booking momentum. Early evidence suggest that demand is improving as service metrics stabilize.
As the company announces a higher MoM market share in December, Ola Electric shares close 4% higher.

Top Three EV Player Status

Government Approves 4680 Bharat Cell-Powered Bike
Ola Electric said on Tuesday that it has acquired government certification for its flagship electric motorbike, the Roadster X+, which is powered by an indigenously built 4680 Bharat Cell battery pack. The product will now begin to be delivered.
According to a statement from the firm, the International Centre for Automotive Technology (iCAT), Manesar, a government testing organization, has authorized the Roadster X+ (9.1 kWh) in accordance with the Central Motor Vehicle Rules (CMVR), 1989.
“With this certification, Ola Electric will now start delivering the Roadster X+ (9.1kWh), marking a historic milestone as it becomes the first electric motorbike in India to be certified with a fully in-house built 4680 Bharat Cell battery pack,” the statement said. Ola Electric has expanded the use of its in-house developed 4680 Bharat Cell technology throughout its two-wheeler range, including electric scooters and motorcycles, with the certification of the Roadster X+ (9.1 kWh), the firm stated.
Bharat Taxi Launch
On January 1, 2026, India’s first government-backed cooperative taxi service formally debuted, pitching itself as a rival to the country’s leading ride-hailing services, Ola and Uber. Sahakar Taxi Cooperative Limited’s Bharat Taxi offers set tariffs with no surge pricing, beginning at Rs 30 for the first four kilometers.
Following test programs that drew more than 51,000 registered drivers, the service was launched in Delhi-NCR. The platform provides a variety of vehicle classifications, such as premium, XL, AC, and non-AC taxis. The charges are Rs 18 per kilometre for longer routes and Rs 23 per km for travels between 4 and 12 kilometers.
Zero-Commission Model
Bharat Taxi has a zero-commission business model, where drivers keep between 80 and 100 percent of their profits, in contrast to standard ride-hailing services that charge drivers 20 to 30 percent commission every journey. Jayen Mehta, managing director of the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation, is chairman of the cooperative, which has a structure similar to that of India’s dairy behemoth Amul.
Major cooperative organizations including IFFCO, KRIBHCO, NAFED, NABARD, and NCDC support the platform, which was registered under the Multi-State Cooperative Societies Act in June 2025 with an initial capital of Rs 300 crore. Amit Shah, the Union Minister of Home and Cooperation, emphasized that “earnings would not go to any huge industrialist but will go only to the drivers of the cars” when he launched the proposal in Parliament.
Safety and Operations
The platform has an emergency SOS button, real-time GPS monitoring, driver certification, and interaction with Delhi Police systems. The app has a bilingual UI and round-the-clock customer service. It is compatible with both iOS and Android.
The service runs concurrently with independent government initiatives in Delhi to reduce vehicle emissions. On Wednesday, Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that taxi aggregators, such as Ola, Uber, and Rapido, had been instructed to create frameworks for carpooling and ride-sharing services within a month. Concerns over COVID-19 transmission led to the discontinuation of these features during the epidemic.
Expansion Plans
In the next months, Bharat Taxi intends to grow to Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Bhopal, Lucknow, and Jaipur. By 2030, the company hopes to have 20 cities and 1,00,000 drivers.
