On August 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will use a video conference to officially open the Amrit Bharat Express train and the Koderma-Vaishali Buddha Circuit MEMU train. Gaya Junction is preparing specifically for this. Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay’s Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Uday Singh Meena, visited the station on Wednesday and gave the necessary directives to the administration.

Additionally, the DRM urged the authorities to carry out their responsibilities honestly and completely. According to him, preparations are underway to give Gaya Junction a fresh appearance in order to improve the experience for the passengers.
Platforms six and seven will host the main event:
The DRM specifically examined platforms six and seven during the examination. He gave the authorities instructions to finish all the inauguration program preparations on schedule, since the pandal would be built here.
He gave instructions to further upgrade the station’ restrooms, drinking water, lights, cleanliness, and passenger information system. According to DRM, there should not be any issues for travelers or guests at the inauguration event.
Focus on Passenger Security
Tight oversight of passenger amenities and security: The DRM gave the senior officers on duty at the station the authority to prioritize passenger amenities and security measures during the inspection. Given the Prime Minister’s plans, he directed the RPF and GRP to make sure the station had strict security measures on place.
Additionally, he discussed the need of paying close attention to crowd control. DRM promised to treat passenger concerns seriously and provide a quick solution.
Special plans for the Pitru Paksha fair
The DRM said that the railway administration’s first focus after the August 22 inauguration ceremony would be the Pitrupaksha Mela preparations. According to him, all of the facilities at Gaya Junction would be completely functional by September 6 so that visitors and devotees from outside may travel without any problems.
Multiple senior officers, including Senior DEN Coordination Suraj Kumar, Senior DCM Rajiv Ranjan, RPF Commandant JB Raj, Senior DOM Keshav Anand, Senior DME Nitin Kumar, and Senior DSTE Vivek Saurabh, were present with the DRM during the inspection.
