Purnia Airport Expands Travel Routes

Deoghar Airport provides amenities for travelers from Ang Pradesh. Now that Purnea Airport is opened, people will have an additional choice.

Five and a half lakh people have flown out of Deoghar Airport in the last three years. People from Banka, Jamui, and Lakhisarai will find it simpler to get to Deoghar, while those from Bhagalpur would take less time now that Purnea Airport is operational.

Air Travel Made Accessible

Even those in slippers may fly by aircraft because to Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s concept of “Vocal for Local, One District One Product” and “Air connection” between tiny cities.

Purnia Airport has been under construction for the last five years, after Darbhanga and Deoghar. Up till now, Seemanchal and Ang Pradesh had airports in Bagdobra and Darbhanga. Passengers from Ang Pradesh who formerly traveled to Darbhanga and Bagdobra began using Deoghar Airport as soon as it opened.

Five and a half lakh people traveled from Deoghar Airport in three years. Passengers from Ang Pradesh, particularly from Bhagalpur, would arrive at Purnia Airport in only one and a half hours after it opens for business on September 15. On the other hand, residents in other Ang Pradesh cities will have a choice in where to move. They will choose their path based on what suits them best.

Travelers from Banka, Jamui, and Lakhisarai will find it simple to get to Deoghar

Jharkhand, a religious and cultural city, opened its airport three years ago in 2022. Currently, about two lakh travelers go annually. Deoghar Airport serves all of Ang Pradesh. Purnia Airport will now be open to travelers on September 15. It seems sense that Bhagalpur residents would want to visit Purnia Airport.

Reason: The trip from Deoghar to Purnia will take an additional 1.5 hours. However, accessing Deoghar will be simple for residents of Banka, Jamui, Lakhisarai, and Barbigha. Therefore, the burden of aircraft operations here will not change considerably.

No impact as of yet

At this time, Purnea Airport will not have any effect on Deoghar Airport. because there are only two ATR flights from Purnea Airport to Kolkata.

Based on credible sources, the itinerary still includes Indigo‘s other planes and one Alliance Air aircraft owned by the Government of India. Indigo has the allotted time. Alliance will soon get it. One will begin service on the 15th, and the other on the 17th.

There will not be any noticeable effects on Deoghar Airport till Purnia Airport‘s aircraft count rises.

Currently, the only choice

Orissa is home to three airports. Jadugoda, Rourkela, and Bhubaneshwar. Depending on their convenience, travelers depart from any one of the three airports. Ang Pradesh residents have a choice. They would be able to choose between Purnia and Deoghar.

If one must go to Delhi, Mumbai, or Bengaluru after worshiping Baba Baidyanath, he will choose Deoghar. Currently, Deoghar has flights to Bengaluru, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Delhi. Flights to Guwahati will begin in the near future.

For the travelers of Bhagalpur, Purnia, the possibilities are accessible. He may land at Purnia, Deoghar, or Bagdobra airports to go to his destination. Two things are crucial in the modern world: time savings and emergency and financial considerations. Only the passenger will gain when there are three possibilities.

Bagdobra and Darbhanga were frequent destinations for Purnia-Kishanganj passengers

There were two choices for travelers from Purnia, Kishanganj, Forbesganj, Supaul, Madhepura, and Veerpur, Simrahi, which borders Nepal. Darbhanga Airport and Bagdobra Airport were the two. It used to take four hours for travelers to get to Bagdobra from Purnia and other surrounding locations. The journey to Darbhanga is taking the same amount of time. They had an option.

The aircraft and the time corresponded when we got to the airport. The Purnia people will not go now. But Bagdobra will be an alternative for the residents of Forbesganj, Supaul, and Kishanganj.
