Under the Government of India’s Regional Connectivity Scheme, Star Air, the aviation division of the Sanjay Ghodawat Group, has announced the opening of additional flights from Purnia to Ahmedabad and Kolkata.
On Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday, Star Air will fly four times a week between Ahmedabad and Purnia. However, Purnia and Kolkata will have three weekly flights on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. At 9.25 am, this plane will depart for Kolkata, arriving at 10.15 am. At 10.45 am, it will depart Kolkata and arrive in Purnia at 11.35 am. At 12:15 p.m., this plane will depart Purnia once again, arriving in Ahmedabad at 14:40 p.m. The CEO said that both locations would shortly begin regular air service in the days ahead.
