Rujuta Diwekar’s 3 Health Tips

Good health is sometimes portrayed as complex, with rigorous food regimens, strenuous exercises, and an infinite list of restrictions that are difficult to follow. However, renowned nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar believes that simple, regular practices ingrained in daily life provide meaningful and long-term outcomes.

On Wednesday, Diwekar, who works with actresses like as Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, and Shahid Kapoor, provided three simple suggestions for improving general health and gradually losing weight. She posted on Instagram, reminding fans that “sustainable is success.”

Here are the three lifestyle suggestions she suggests

Make room for bajra in your weekly meals

Diwekar advocated including bajra (pearl millet) into meals at least once a week. Bajra, whether ingested as roti, ladoo, raab, or sheera, may enhance energy, improve immunity, and prevent hair loss.

For those who find bajra difficult to digest, she advised a few easy solutions: add an additional teaspoon of ghee, put a spoon of makhan into the dough, or combine bajra flour with 50% rice flour to make it easier on the stomach.

She also mentioned traditional digestion advice, such as finishing meals with a little piece of jaggery and serving bajra with garlic chutney or turmeric pickle.

Stretch more and do not overdo your exercises

Diwekar highlighted the value of moderate, regular activity over intensive workouts. She added that the posterior chain, a set of muscles that runs from the heels to the head, requires regular stretching to maintain posture, balance, and avoid injury.

A basic flexibility program, she said, may go a long way toward keeping the body robust.

Set limits for screen time at home

Her final recommendation centered on digital behaviors. Diwekar suggested designating a “screen zone” at home, where you may stand and use your phone momentarily. This helps to prevent scrolling on the bed, dining table, or in the restroom.

She claims that the exercise may boost attention, increase sleep quality, and minimize mindless screen time.

The Bigger Picture

Diwekar continued by emphasizing the importance of making healthy choices every day. Even a 5-7% sustained weight decrease over a year, she said, may result in significant gains in general well-being.
