Despite the fact that gold prices have increased by around 15% this year, leading jewelry retailer Senco Gold Ltd. said on Saturday that it anticipates strong sales during the wedding and holiday seasons in the second half of FY26 and is confident in maintaining 18–20% topline growth for the year.
Strong Festive Demand Expected
According to the firm, it has accumulated a wide variety of bridal and festive collections in its inventory and anticipates that Q3 will be the most successful quarter of the year due to the busy wedding season and significant holidays like Diwali and Dhanteras.
“Gold prices have already increased by 14–15% year over year. Despite this, we continue to have a good forecast for consumer demand in Q3 and Q4, supported by the recent reduction in the GST rate and a thriving economy. For FY26, we anticipate 18–20% topline growth,” Senco Gold MD & CEO Suvankar Sen told PTI.
To meet the increasing demand for reasonably priced solutions in the face of rising gold prices, Senco has offered new lines of lightweight and low-carat gold jewelry, including 9K collections, and special Dhanteras deals.
Expanding Retail Footprint Nationwide
With the opening of two new locations this week in Naihati, West Bengal, and Uttar Pradesh, the company’s retail network now stands at 185 showrooms.
According to Senco Gold, it is still on course to meet its yearly goal of opening 20 additional showrooms in FY’26.
While Shop-in-Shop (SIS) counters have surpassed 100 across formats, its luxury brand Sennes also grew with a new location in Hyderabad, bringing the total to eight.
Revenue Up 17.8% in FY26
Senco announced 17.8% year-over-year revenue increase in the first half of FY26, driven by retail sector growth of 16% and same-store sales growth (SSSG) of 7.5%. During this time, the demand for diamond jewelry increased by 31% in value and 14% in volume.
The business said that in order to maintain momentum in the next quarters, it would keep using festive promotions, focused marketing initiatives, and an expanded line of lightweight jewelry. For its extensive collection of gold and diamond jewelry, the jewelry chain has introduced its Dhanteras offer.
