Shramev Jayate Conference Highlights Employer Duties Under New Labour Codes

Under the direction of Chairman Satendra Singh and Director Anshuman Singh, the Indian Council of Industrial Management (ICIM) held the national conference “Shramev Jayate – New Labour Codes Seminar” in a hotel in Sector 18, Noida.

Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Hon’ble MP for Gautam Buddha Nagar, and Dr. M.K. Shanmuga Sundaram, Principal Secretary (Labour), Government of Uttar Pradesh, lit ceremonial lamps to kick off the ceremony.

Dr. Shanmuga Sundaram emphasized in his keynote speech that the main goal of the new labor codes is to guarantee timely salaries, social security, workplace safety, and welfare benefits for each and every employee. He emphasized that business owners and employers have the primary duty for guaranteeing compliance and worker welfare.

Adv. Yajat Kumar: Industrial Relations Code 2020 and conflict resolution procedures;
Adv. Govindraju N.S.: pay Code 2019 and the 50% CTC pay structure;
Adv. Sudhir Kumar Gupta: Social Security Code and OHS Code

They described how the new legal framework would affect industrial relations, payroll arrangements, employer obligations, paperwork requirements, and general compliance tactics. The workshops focused on how the new codes improve workers’ rights while making industry compliance easier.
