Somesh Soren Eyes Ministerial Role in Ghatsila By-Election

Government in Jharkhand Somesh Soren, the son of the late JMM minister Ramdas Soren, intends to compete in the Ghatsila by-election.

Party members have offered the state high command his name. He may even get a ministerial position if he wins, as has previously occurred with the relatives of deceased presidents, according to rumors.

Somesh Soren, the oldest son of JMM’s late minister Ramdas Soren, will run in the Ghatshila Assembly by-election after his death. In addition to informing the state high command, the Ghatshila Assembly Committee unanimously declared his name.

At the conference were party officials and workers from each of the four blocks: Gudabanda, Musabani, Dhalbhumgarh, and Ghatshila.

Willingness to realize father’s aspirations

After his father passed away, Somesh Soren promised to assume this duty. He said that through his diligence and hard effort, his father, Ramdas Soren, had quickly established a unique identity for Ghatsila.

Somesh said on his social media accounts that his primary goal is to comprehend and address the issues facing the local population. In addition to receiving blessings from his mother, he bowed to his father’s photo.

In addition, he paid respects to Dishom Guru Shibu Soren at the beginning of this election campaign. He assured the workers that he would lead his father’s growth chariot ahead with everyone else. “No one learns politics; events and conditions drive one ahead,” Somesh said.

JMM employees provided assistance.

Baghrai Mardi, the party’s convener leader for the East Singhbhum district, said that the Ghatsila workers have chosen Somesh Soren as their candidate, but he is unsure about the central committee’s choice.

Only once we have appointed him an MLA will we send him. He said that by winning this assembly, the audience demonstrated that efforts will be made to get Somesh Soren elected as an MLA.

Is Somesh going to be a minister?

In Jharkhand politics, it has been noted that a member of the minister’s or MLA’s family gets appointed to the cabinet in the event of his death.

Baby Devi, the late minister Jagannath Mahato’s wife, was appointed to the cabinet upon his passing. Likewise, Hafizul Hasan, the son of Haji Hussain Ansari, was appointed a minister upon his death.

In light of this, there are rumors that Somesh Soren may also be able to get a cabinet position in the Hemant administration if he wins the Ghatsila by-election.

Additionally, the district committee has called for the inclusion of a Ramdas Soren family member in the government.

The party high command’s response to this demand and Somesh Soren’s ability to follow in his father’s footsteps as a minister are still up in the air.
