Attendees of Western Sydney vs. Macarthur FC on New Year’s Day are in for a double treat.
Football Meets Classic Car Culture
As part of a match day cooperation with Summernats, they will be able to see some great vintage vehicles in addition to the football game between the two Greater Western Sydney teams, which is usually captivating.
Football fans and auto aficionados, two of Australia’s most passionate groups, will come together as a result of the cooperation.
Local Pride on Display
Two of the ten vehicles on exhibit are from South West Sydney, according to Bulls supporters.
Menangle resident Dom Luci, 38, will bring his eye-catching orange 1975 Holden HJ Kingswood with the customized license plate LITMUP.
The Story Behind LITMUP
Luci, a seasoned burnout competitor, is well-known for his spectacular accomplishments, which include a Pro Burnout Series qualifying at Street Machine Summernats 38.
LITMUP has great personal meaning for Luci since his late father-in-law gave it to him when it was discovered abandoned and restored with assistance from friends and family.
Family, Passion, and Performance
Luci and LITMUP, who often have their kids near the track, embody a culture of burnout that is as motivated by passion as by achievement.
Wilton native Mitchel Hawkins, 33, will make the second South West Sydney entry.
CAVIAR Takes the Spotlight
Hawkins will display his 1994 Holden VR Commodore, CAVIAR, which has a unique salmon pink finish.
Hawkins, who is renowned for defying convention, turned a long-forgotten garage discovery into a striking statement vehicle with racing influences that attracted a lot of attention at Meguiar’s MotorEx and ended up on the front cover of Street Machine magazine.
A Blend of Style and Utility
Fans who attend the football game on Thursday will notice that CAVIAR is a prime example of performance and inventiveness, fusing show-stopping design with family-friendly functionality.
