The reason for the protests by farmers outside a Tata Motors car showroom

The dealership seems to be close to Coimbatore. Four years ago, the owner of the defective Tata Nexon EV purchased the electric car. He considered MG and BYD as alternatives while making his purchase, but he ultimately chose the Tata brand since he had heard great things about it from his friends and family. The passion around the Indian brand also played a role in the choice.

Battery Issues Plague Nexon

He had experienced no problems throughout the first year after purchasing the vehicle. However, the automobile began to exhibit issues after the first year. The battery was not adequately keeping its charge, he said. after first, the vehicle would cut off after a mere 2 percent charge. This then rose from 2 to 27 percent. This problem affects more than one farmer. According to the video, another farmer purchased a Nexon EV and is having similar issues.

In the video, the client, who is the complaint, is heard stating that he has been stuck in the middle of the road on many times. He bought the automobile from the Tata dealership with the assurance that they would help him if anything went wrong. Additionally, he was promised a loaner automobile, but despite the car breaking down 27 times, he never received it.

Farmer Demands Nexon Refund

The owner wants to return the vehicle to Tata and has requested a refund since he is now very upset with the dealership employees and the service they provided. The owner is so irate that he even said that this automobile was not only a poor purchase, but that it is now the cause of his insults. Many have made fun of him for purchasing this car for Rs 15 lakh.

According to the owner, the dealer originally fixed the car, but the problems kept coming back. The farmer is furious because he feels taken advantage of and even said that the government ought to ban Tata from producing EVs since they are unstable.

The client intends to bring in more farmers to support his position after threatening the dealership with a demonstration in front of their building. He insisted on meeting with Tata personnel, but nobody has contacted him. In contrast, the Tata dealership has requested an additional week from the buyer to address the problems. They promised to either replace the vehicle or give the money back.
